Benner's Hill is located just east of Gettysburg. Artillery from Ewells' II Corps took up position here to support attacks on 2 Jul 1863. The artillery was in an exposed positioned. Union artillery on Cemetery Hill, Stevens' Knoll and Culp's Hill all fired on the Confederate position. After about 90 minutes the Confederates were forced to relocate their artillery.
